Dr. Alex Sanders Featured in CDHA’s Oh Canada! Magazine

A proud moment for the Diagnocat team, seeing our founder and CEO, Dr. Alex Sanders featured in the Spring 2026 issue of CDHA’s Oral Health Magazine, Oh Canada!

His piece, “Beyond the Naked Eye”, names something every clinician feels but rarely says out loud: spotting a faint radiolucency or a millimetre of bone change is one skill, and helping a patient actually see it and understand why they need treatment is another one entirely. Add a full schedule and end-of-day fatigue, and the mental load is real.

That gap is where AI earns its place. Not as a replacement for clinical judgment, but as a second set of eyes that brings consistency to detection and turns a grainy radiograph into something a patient can understand. When people can see colour-coded bone levels and clearly marked findings for themselves, the conversation shifts from persuasion to collaboration.

As Alex puts it, precision is not only about skill. It is also about support.
