On average, it takes at least 30 minutes for a specialist in oral radiology to analyze a CBCT. The automatically-generated panoramic reconstruction is a unique Diagnocat AI feature providing a quick case review. The quality of this reformation gives the dental professional the ability to detect up to 65 modalities from within the reformation.

Diagnocat’s dental chart supports the clinician as they navigate through the entire volume, while clearly marking teeth with previous treatments and newly found conditions.

In the tooth card, the clinician can evaluate the images in two ways:

  • Online 3D viewer - provides a multiplanar reconstruction of the specific tooth, allowing the clinician to rotate and align the viewer axes as necessary. 
  •  A complete series of automatically-generated cross sections A standard visualization of dental findings can be fine-tuned utilizing a few clicks for each tooth. The findings are presented in the color-coded tooth chart.

The dental chart helps to navigate in the region of interest. An extended tooth card appears, with detected conditions, including their % probabilities from the AI.


To get more information about a tooth, without having to go back to your imaging software there are two useful functions: – Multiplanar view (MPR), where the field of view is limited to a single tooth volume. Diagnocat allows moving the axes interactively for a more detailed analysis and production of customized sectional views that can be added to the automatically-generated sections. – View of previously constructed tooth sections. Diagnocat generates a series of sectional images in the main projections. The algorithm might highlight possible problem areas, to focus the dentist’s attention.


After the clinician looks through Diagnocat’s suggestions, he/she can accept or reject them, add comments, and supplement the report with additional photos or images.


The next stage is to prepare a report with findings and conditions. It contains a dental chart and a description of each tooth, in a printable PDF file. All teeth with detected treatable conditions are highlighted in red - convenient when discussing the report with the patient. The report perfectly complements the treatment plan. The patient now has a clear association between his conditions and the required treatment. For improved understanding, a simplified one-page report can be generated for the patient, including a reformatted panoramic view and a color-coded dental chart.
